About this product

CLEANING & SERVICE BUSINESS HUB — an interactive browser app, not another printable

Every cleaning business planner on this site is a PDF, a Canva template or a blank spreadsheet. They give you somewhere to write things down. None of them calculates anything.

This is a real application. You open one file in your browser and get 64 screens, 240 features and the arithmetic that Jobber, Housecall Pro and ZenMaid charge $59 to $329 a month for — with route optimisation locked behind the $129 tier. This is $11.11, once, in a file you own.

It works with the internet switched off. No account, no login, no server. Nothing you type ever leaves your device.

Built for house cleaners, maid services, commercial janitorial crews, lawn and grounds outfits, window and pressure-washing rounds, carpet, pool and mobile detailing — anyone who drives to other people's property on a schedule and gets paid per visit.

THE FIVE THINGS THAT MAKE IT WORTH IT

◉ FOUR QUOTE ENGINES, SIDE BY SIDE
Every pricing guide in this trade picks one formula and calls it the answer. They disagree, often by half. So this runs all four on the same job at once — square-foot production rate, per-room, price-per-square-foot, and cost-up from your own break-even — and shows you the spread. When they agree you can quote with confidence. When they spread apart, something about that job is unusual and you should walk it before you commit. Plus a walkthrough estimator that scores nine areas 1–5 and turns the condition into a multiplier, because a first clean priced at the maintenance rate loses money every single time.

◉ THE BREAK-EVEN HOUR — THE NUMBER ALMOST NOBODY IN THIS TRADE HAS
What one hour of one person actually costs you: their wage, the payroll burden on that wage (15–20%, and it is the bit everyone forgets), the supplies they get through, the share of the day's driving that hour has to carry, the vehicle, and its slice of your monthly overhead. Sell an hour below that and you lose money however busy you look. It also gives you the rate you need for your target margin, and a scenario table showing which lever actually moves it.

◉ PROFIT ON EVERY SINGLE JOB — EIGHT COSTS, NOT TWO
Crew wages, payroll burden, supplies, the unbilled wage of the drive there, vehicle cost per mile, the card fee, and an allocated share of overhead. Rolled up per client, it produces a profitability ranking that is almost never the list you would have guessed. Cut the same profit by service line, by day of the week, by crew, by zone and by frequency. The money-losing clients are flagged in red, with guidance on what to check before you do anything about it.

◉ DRIVE TIME, COSTED HONESTLY
Nobody pays you to sit in traffic, and no other planner counts it. This one prices it by day, by zone and by client, next to the surcharge you charge for that zone, so you can finally see whether the surcharge covers anything. It is usually the second biggest cost in a cleaning business and the one nobody measures.

◉ RECURRING BOOKINGS THAT FILL THE CALENDAR THEMSELVES
Seven patterns — weekly, twice weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks, monthly on the nth weekday, quarterly, one-off. One row becomes ninety days of schedule at a press, skipping the days you have marked closed. It tells you your monthly recurring revenue, your annual value on the books, and how stable the mix actually is.

ONE-CLICK SET-UP

Four questions — what trade you are in, your business name and currency, what you charge and what you pay per hour, and how many crews for how many hours. Press the button and it builds your rate card, your room-by-room checklists, a starter supply list with usage rates, your service zones and your crews. About thirty seconds.

Four trade presets included: house cleaning, commercial janitorial, lawn and grounds, mobile service.

Until then it opens showing a full worked example — an invented four-person cleaning business with three years of history and thirty clients — so no screen is ever blank while you find your way around.

ONE-CLICK BACKUP TO GOOGLE DRIVE, DROPBOX OR ONEDRIVE

The app makes no network calls — it cannot upload anything itself, which is exactly why your client list has never been on anybody else's computer. What it does instead is write your backup file straight INTO a folder your own Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or iCloud app is already watching, and that app does the uploading.

In Chrome or Edge the first backup asks where to put it; every one after that is a single click that overwrites the same file, so your cloud keeps one tidy current copy rather than forty. Firefox and Safari save to Downloads and you move it yourself. Both are explained, along with example folder paths for every provider, a restore walkthrough with a preview before anything is replaced, CSV export from every table for your accountant, and a troubleshooting table for every way a backup can go wrong.

The guide devotes six pages to backing up, exporting, importing and moving to a new machine, because it is the one thing that turns a dead laptop from a catastrophe into an inconvenience.

WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO

It does not send emails or texts for you, take card payments, store photographs, or give you a live street map — all of those need an internet connection, and the whole privacy promise rests on not having one. It indexes your before-and-after photos rather than storing them, and the route map shows you whether a day clusters or zig-zags, which is the part that costs money.

It is a record-keeping and arithmetic tool, not accounting software and not tax advice. It does the sums on the numbers you give it.

Digital download. Because of the nature of instant downloads there are no refunds, but if anything does not work, message me and I will fix it.
