For Google Sheets: open sheets.google.com, then File › Import › Upload and choose the
.xlsx. The Quick Start guide walks you through it with pictures. It takes about thirty
seconds and you only do it once.

NOT EMPTY ON DAY ONE

24 real recipes with their source links and 72 ingredients are already loaded, so you can
see exactly how everything works before you type a thing. When you are ready to start
clean, select and press Delete — the guide tells you which cells.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK FIRST

Do I need to pay for anything else?
No. A free Google account is enough, or use the included .xlsx in Excel.

Are there macros or add-ons?
None. Every calculation is an ordinary spreadsheet formula, so nothing is blocked by
security settings and nothing expires.

Can I change the currency?
Yes. The money columns are ordinary number formats and the guide shows you which ones.

Can I add my own categories, cuisines or aisles?
Yes. Add them on the Settings tab and every dropdown in the workbook picks them up.

Can it hold more than 200 recipes?
200 rows are ready to use, and the guide explains how to extend it.

Will it pull recipes off websites for me?
No. There is a Source URL field on every recipe so the link travels with it, but the
ingredients are typed in. No plain spreadsheet can read a web page.
